Yes. Pick a distance filter — within 10 km or within 50 km — and strangerly matches you with someone nearby for a live video chat, free and with no profile or swiping. Your exact location is never shared: it is rounded on your device to a grid about 1.1 km across, and the other person only ever sees a rough distance such as "~5 km", never a direction or a map. If you decline the location permission everything else still works normally.
Strangerly Space is a shared second-screen experience. While you're in a video call on your phone, the two of you can each connect a laptop, smart TV, tablet, or another phone to share a bigger screen — for a full-screen video call or to share a screen together — while the chat and call stay on your phones. It's available now on the web.
During a video call, tap Space to generate a QR code and a short code. Open that code on your bigger screen (scan the QR or type the code at strangerly.in/space) and it pairs to your call in seconds. Only the two people in the call can join, and the Space disconnects when the conversation ends.
Screen sharing and video on Strangerly Space are streamed peer-to-peer (WebRTC) directly between your devices — content isn't uploaded or stored by us. Because you're sharing with a stranger, never put personal information, passwords, financial details, or explicit or copyrighted content on the shared screen.
