Adults only — age check
strangerly is strictly for users 18 and over. Before entering a chat you must confirm your date of birth; anyone under 18 is blocked. We do not knowingly allow minors and act on reports of underage use.
Consent & cookies
Analytics and advertising storage are off by default using Google Consent Mode v2. We only enable optional analytics if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner — and you can change your mind any time by clearing this site's cookies. Strictly-necessary storage (theme, age confirmation, consent choice) is the minimum needed to run the site.
On-device AI (biometric) — optional & consented
Our optional gender/liveness check runs an AI entirely on your device, only if you give explicit consent at the age gate. It produces an estimate (not identity verification), we do not upload your camera feed, and we do not store biometric templates. You can decline and still chat.
Privacy by design
- No sign-up and no chat history kept on a profile.
- Messages exist only for the session and are deleted when the room ends.
- Video/voice is peer-to-peer (WebRTC) — which exposes participants' IP addresses to each other to connect.
- You have rights to access, delete and restrict your data, and to withdraw consent — email privacy@strangerly.in.
Content, moderation & enforcement
- Nudity, sexual content involving minors, harassment, hate, violence, spam and illegal content are prohibited.
- You can report or block anyone with one tap — reports are anonymous.
- Our team reviews reports and bans offenders; banned users are removed and can no longer be matched.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and will act on, and where required report, illegal content. Child sexual abuse material is never tolerated.
