Cookie Policy
Last updated June 2026
This policy explains how strangerly.in uses cookies and similar local storage, and how you control them.
What we use
- Strictly necessary — your theme preference, age confirmation, and consent choices. These are required for the site to work and don't need consent.
- Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics, to understand usage and improve the Service. These load only after you accept in the consent banner.
- Advertising (optional) — if/when enabled, advertising cookies also load only with your consent.
Consent & Google Consent Mode
Analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2). They are enabled only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which will show the banner again.
Third parties
Firebase (Google) provides real-time connectivity and Stripe processes payments; they may set their own cookies/storage under their respective policies. Video/voice is peer-to-peer (WebRTC), which exposes participants' IP addresses to each other to establish the connection.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary storage may break parts of the site. Questions: privacy@strangerly.in.
